Students will train in a working salon at the college
Students will be attending Atlantic Canada’s largest hair show in Halifax just two weeks after classes begin. This event is being sponsored by Maritime Beauty and they have personally invited the students to attend. This event will show the students exactly what they can accomplish through hard work, passion and determination. What a great way to start your new career!!
Program costs - $10, 812.36
Includes tuition, hair kit, supplies, books, hair show tickets, computer training with power point to enable students to prepare a portfolio of their work along with training with software that is used for booking appointments and client information system.

Paralegal – September 1, 2009
54 weeks classroom instruction and a six weeks on-the-job training with local legal firms or other businesses that use paralegal services.

Instructor: Susan Snook
Susan is a Paralegal with background working within the Provincial and Family Courts, she also has the experience of working in private law firms and for the past three years has been a paralegal instructor. Her experience will give the students valuable insights into this occupation. Susan has a great passion for teaching and is very proud of her former students and is looking forward to guiding and helping each of her new students fulfill their goals and assist them in finding a satisfying career upon graduation.
Program costs: $12,070.09
Includes tuition, books, supplies, title searching with a qualified title searcher, computer provided on site, students will train on site and also attend trials and/or hearings for the purpose of learning the court and legal system.
