Atlantic Canada's first Green college will help more Nova Scotians have access to post-secondary education and training to prepare them for jobs they want, jobs that must be filled for Nova Scotia to prosper. Students in Truro and area now have more choice as they plan their post-secondary education.

News and Events

The first year students for the Cosmetology Program are graduating and most of these students have already found employment opportunities. Congratulations students, well done. It has been quite an exciting experience watching these students transform into qualified hair professionals in the art of Cosmetology. I know their journey is just beginning and we wish them all the best and hope they succeed in their chosen career.

The next Cosmetology program begins on April 6, 2010. The class will be under the direction of Debbie MacCallum, Master Cosmetology Instructor. Debbie has been with Victoria Court Career College since the college opened. Debbie began as a Master Stylist and certified colorist and it was soon very apparent that she was meant to be an instructor. Debbie continued her education in order to achieve that goal and is now the Master Cosmetology Instructor at Victoria Court Career College. The college is very proud to have the cosmetology students under the guidance of Debbie MacCallum. Debbie is a master at her craft and has a wonderful way with the students who trust and respect her. It is going to be a wonderful experience for the students who are beginning their first year of advancing into a new career in Cosmetology.

Classes for the Cosmetology Program begin April 6, 2010 and the next Paralegal Program will begin on September 6, 2010. Please contact the school for further information.
